Metformin Hydrochloride, as monotherapy, are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes. Metformin Hydrochloride may be used concomitantly with a sulfonylurea or insulin to improve glycemic control in adults.
